BUILD STRUCTURE. CREATE CALM, HAPPY PUPPIES.

This program is designed for young, happy-go-lucky pups between 4–6 months old who need a little structure to make life more enjoyable for both them and their owners. Over the course of 2 weeks, your dog will stay with us to learn basic obedience, leash manners, and how to navigate puppyhood challenges like jumping, nipping, and greeting guests politely. You’ll receive ongoing updates, plus full handover training so you can confidently maintain the results at home.

3 WEEKS CONTROLLED OBEDIENCE BOARD & TRAIN

BUILD FOCUS. CREATE WELL-MANNERED, CONFIDENT DOGS.

This program is designed for puppies and dogs over 4 months old who do not have major behavioral issues like severe aggression but still need help staying under control around distractions, or who need proper socialization and exposure. Over the course of 3 weeks, your dog will train in both on- and off-leash obedience while addressing everyday behavior problems, building confidence, and improving focus. You’ll receive progress updates throughout and hands-on lessons to ensure lasting results at home.

What’s Included:

4+ WEEKS BEHAVIORAL BOARD & TRAIN

BUILD CONFIDENCE. ADDRESS SERIOUS BEHAVIOR CHALLENGES.

This program is designed for dogs over 4 months old experiencing major behavioral issues such as dog or human aggression, resource guarding, separation anxiety, or insecurity. Over the course of 4 weeks or more, your dog will work on advanced obedience, proper socialization, and exposure while addressing the root causes of unwanted behavior. Our goal is to create a safe, stable, and confident companion, with lasting results supported by hands-on owner training.

What’s Included:

6–8 WEEKS BEHAVIORAL BOARD & TRAIN

INTENSIVE TRAINING FOR SEVERE AGGRESSION & MAJOR BEHAVIOR ISSUES

This extended program is for dogs with severe aggression or complex behavioral challenges who need additional time, structure, and guidance to achieve lasting results. Designed for cases involving heightened reactivity, significant anxiety, or deeply ingrained behavioral patterns, the program length is customized between 6 and 8 weeks depending on the behavior, the dog, and your goals.

Your dog will learn all the commands and receive every benefit from our 3-week Controlled Obedience and 4+ week Behavioral BOOT-CAMP programs — with the extra time and attention needed to address the most challenging cases.

Frequently Asked Questions

Board and Train in Connecticut
How do I know which BOARD & TRAIN program is right for my dog?

We start with a consultation to assess your dog’s age, behavior, and training goals. Puppies and well-mannered dogs may thrive in our 2- or 3-week programs, while dogs with more complex needs may benefit from our 4+ week or 6–8 week Behavioral BOOT-CAMP.

Not if you keep up with the follow-through we teach you. Every program includes hands-on graduation lessons, guidance on using training equipment, and lifetime trainer support to help you maintain your dog’s skills.

All BOOT-CAMP dogs learn heel, come, place, sit, and lay down with an implied stay. Depending on the program, they’ll also work on manners, behavior correction, socialization, and exposure to distractions.

In our 4+ week and 6–8 week Behavioral BOOT-CAMPs, we dedicate extra time to behavior rehabilitation — including aggression, reactivity, anxiety, and resource guarding. Training is tailored to your dog’s specific challenges for safe, lasting results.

Yes! We share frequent updates and photos of your dog’s progress on our social media, so you can follow along while they’re with us.

You’ll leave with clear instructions, ongoing trainer communication, and free access to our Masters Class (for life) and pack walks. We’re committed to helping you and your dog succeed long-term.
