Our Dog Training Packages

3-Day Focus Program

Dogs needing consistent training with flexible scheduling

This option provides steady progress without overloading your dog—or your week. Your dog visits us thrice a week for obedience work, leash handling, and calm routines. You’ll receive clear updates and simple at-home reinforcement to maintain gains between visits. Great for dogs just starting or needing structure.

What’s Included:

5-Day Confidence Program

Dogs needing stronger structure, support, or behavior change

This package is ideal for dogs with higher energy, reactivity, or more stubborn behavior patterns. With five training days per week, your dog gets routine, repetition, and increased exposure. We focus on follow-through, decision-making, and control around distractions. Progress builds quickly with daily reinforcement and handler coaching.

What’s Included:

1-Day Refresh Program

Dogs who’ve trained with us before

This refresher day is perfect for graduates of our other programs or returning clients. Whether it’s leash brushing, greeting reminders, or sharpening recall, one-day sessions help maintain good habits. We work on target skills, give feedback, and support any slipping behaviors that need attention.

Frequently Asked Questions

What makes day training different from daycare?

Day training isn’t play-based. While your dog may get movement breaks, the focus is structured training with clear goals. Each session includes obedience work, leash skills, impulse control, and behavior shaping—led by professional trainers, not play supervisors.

Most dogs can start day training around 5 months old. We also work with adolescent and adult dogs who need extra support with obedience, focus, or behavior. Puppies younger than 5 months may be better suited for our Puppy Training program first.

Your dog stays with us for a half-day or full-day depending on the schedule. Most dogs are dropped off in the morning and picked up in the afternoon. During that time, your dog gets multiple short training blocks, rest periods, and structured downtime.

Yes—but consistency matters. While a single session offers improvement, we recommend multiple days per week for the best results. Each training day builds on the last, helping your dog retain skills and become more confident with structure and guidance.

Definitely. At pickup, we’ll walk you through what your dog worked on, what went well, and what to practice at home. We also provide written or verbal feedback so you’re never left guessing about progress.

Our day training services are based in Southington, CT, and available to families in West Hartford, Farmington, Avon, Cromwell, and surrounding towns. All training is handled by our in-house team of four dedicated professionals.
