Get to know the dedicated team at Coaching 4 Paws—four experienced trainers with a shared mission: helping Southington families raise calmer, more responsive dogs. Each trainer brings hands-on skill, patience, and clear communication to every session, from first consult to final handoff.
I’m a husband to my beautiful wife, Kaycee, and a proud father to our three amazing kids—Caleb, CJ, and Ariana. Family means everything to me, and it’s a big part of why I do what I do every day.
I’ve been working with dogs since 2009! While I was a vet tech I was also apprenticing to become a dog trainer! Working at the vet hospital I could not believe how many people would come in contemplating behavioral euthanasia, I felt helpless and wanted to do something to help! After a few years and with the nudge from my mentor, I founded Coaching 4 Paws in 2014. What started as a one-man show with no facility has grown into an amazing team of passionate trainers—and together, we’ve had the honor of being named Connecticut’s Best Dog Trainer three times and have helped thousands of dogs live happier, more balanced lives.
I’m an active competitor in the dog sport of IGP, and I’ve titled every one of my personal dogs. This year, I’m especially proud to be preparing for the national championship. I’m also a German Shepherd breeder, and some of the dogs I’ve raised have gone on to serve as police K9s and service dogs—something I’m deeply proud of.
One of my biggest goals has been launching our Service Dog Program—and in 2025, we made it happen. We’re now raising and training service dogs to be donated completely free to local military veterans in need. Giving back to those who’ve served our country means everything to me.
Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of traveling across the U.S. to work with some professional athletes and their dogs, but Connecticut is home—and I’m excited to continue growing, learning, and giving back to our community.
